Supporting Coaches
Established in 1965, the British Swimming Coaches Association has been supporting coaches over six decades and has evolved significantly over this period.
Today, it includes teaching and coaching members from clubs, schools, universities, local authorities, and employees of governing bodies at all levels of the sport. The association represents the interests of both the voluntary and professional sectors, providing support and advocacy for all involved.

Coach of the Day
The BSCA Coach of the Day Award recognises outstanding coaching and celebrates the vital role coaches play in swimmer development and success. Coaches are nominated daily at selected events, with winners announced the following day and highlighted across event communications, the BSCA website and social media.
Delivered in partnership with Aquatics GB and Speedo, the award shines a well-deserved spotlight on the dedication, expertise and behind-the-scenes commitment that helps swimmers reach their full potential.
Coach Out of Water
The BSCA’s unique programme empowers Swimming Coaches to fill in the gaps in their knowledge at their own pace, relevant to your level of operation, your experience and to compliment current qualifications and certificates, adding from academic sources, practical application and assisting you in how to professionalise how you practice.
Our courses are designed to build upon & compliment the information received within an NGB Certificated course, read, listen or watch then consider how to apply.
