The BSCA ‘Coach of the Day’ continues at the Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships (19–25 July 2025), now proudly sponsored by Speedo.
Supporting Coaches
Established in 1965, the British Swimming Coaches Association has been supporting coaches over six decades and has evolved significantly over this period.
Today, it includes teaching and coaching members from clubs, schools, universities, local authorities, and employees of governing bodies at all levels of the sport. The association represents the interests of both the voluntary and professional sectors, providing support and advocacy for all involved.
PROMOTING
The BSCA operates locally, regionally & nationally to promote the role of the Coach & Teacher in the welfare of the swimmer & the sport and liaises with respective NGB’s when doing so.
PROTECTING
The BSCA protects members’ interests and profession with insurance covering Professional Liability, personal injury, Criminal, Employment, & Tax law, ensuring support through club, sport, or court processes.
REPRESENTING
RECOGNISING
The BSCA recognises Coaching Achievement with our new Annual Awards Scheme and Coach of the Quarter / Day initatives.
