BSCA Coach of the Year 2024

Andi Manley

Andi is awarded the BSCA Coach of the Year 2024 Award for coaching Daniel Wiffen ( Ireland) to 1x Gold Medal Mens 800m Freestyle and 1x Bronze Medal Mens 1500m Freestyle at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

BSCA Para Coach of the Year 2024

Dave is awarded the BSCA Para Coach of the Year 2024 award for his work coaching Alice Tai to 5 Medals at Paris Paralympics 2024 comprising of 2x Gold 100bk/50fs; 400fs Silver; 100fly & 200 IM Bronze.

BSCA Coaching Award of Excellence 2024

For coaching to swimmer(s) medal winning performances at Olympics & Paralympics in Paris 2024 individual and relay events. This included the history achieving mens 4×200 free relay winning Gold with the same quartet as in Tokyo Olympics.

BSCA Youth Coach of the Year 2024

Mike Taylor

BSCA Youth Coach of the Year 2024 is awarded to Mike (City of Sheffield Swim Squad) for coaching Phoebe Cooper to European Junior Silver in 200m Individual Medley.

BSCA Para Youth Coach of the Year 2024

The BSCA Para Youth Coach of the Year 2024 award goes to Nick (St Felix School) for coaching Will Ellard to Paris Paralympics Gold in 200 Free & Silver 100 Fly S14 Category.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Bill Furniss

This award is in recognition of Bill’s achievements at all levels of the sport, domestically at Nova Centurion & internationally with the GB National team, in particular the double Gold medal & world record performances of Rebecca Adlington in Beijing 2008, as well as the success of the GB international team whilst he held the position of National Coach.

This also recognises his role as a coach educator & mentor to many in the UK. Congratulations Bill!
