We wanted to inform our members that we have made some admin changes to how our new BSCA website communicates with our payment provider, GoCardless for our monthly and annual subscriptions.
Our new BSCA website communicates directly with GoCardless for payments and the API link created when you signed up via our previous website and GoCardless is to be discontinued. Over the next few months we intend to migrate our long-standing members (joined prior to June 2024) across to the new system.
Our members don’t need to do anything, your mandate remains active and payments are still being collected. You may see an email from GoCardless that says your subscription or a payment has been cancelled. This relates to the previous API link created by the previous website when you joined. When we remove this subscription GoCardless notifies customers.
Please be aware if you get this email that your account is still active and has been transferred to the new system and payments are being processed as normal.
All new sign-ups and any members who signed up to join BSCA via our new website (since June 2024) are unaffected, your memberships are already handled on the new system.
