BSCA Coach of the Quarter Award Returns

June 03, 2024

The BSCA is once again proud to launch their Coach of the Quarter Award this morning. The Award is a general recognition for any coach be they a BSCA member or not*, for not only the performances of the swimmers they work with, but for any other aspect of life as a coach. This could be new initiatives, such as development of equipment, innovative new practices, community projects that promote the role of the coach, or just being a darned good coach! No positive idea will be discounted.

The Awards will be for activities within a three month period (hence a Quarter) and this one will take into account the months of April, May & June, with the closing date for nominations being midnight 30th June 2024.

Nominations will be open to come from members, non-members and the public.

They will be made via a protected WhatsApp group set up specifically for this and they will be cleared after every Quarter closes.

People can join the group via https://chat.whatsapp.com/KkkSWHLG0ZJAhck6hWytw8 or by clicking on this QR Code:

The winner will be selected by members of the BSCA Ambassadors group and winners will receive recognition, public adoration, a Certificate related to the achievement and a prize to be announced at the respective point.

So with 27 days to go before the first receipient is to be selected, get yourself onboard the group and get nominating. Let all your friends & colleagues know and encourage them to join.

(*Whilst nominations are welcomed from all members of the coaching community, the coach must be operating within GB and BSCA membership may be a factor considered if the nominations are close on merit.)

[Nominations for this quarter close at midnight on 30.06.24 ~ Nominees will be considered on the 1st & 2nd of July with the Winner announced on the 3rd July 2024]
