Our current head coach will be moving on after many years in the club. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic coach who wants to take overall responsibility for the club’s younger swimmers. You will have the overall responsibility for groups K4, K5, and the recruitment squads, and will work actively to ensure coherence and consistency in training across these groups, as well as contribute to a smooth transition from the swim school to the recruitment level.
The position is primarily a full-time (100%) role, but we are flexible and can adjust the workload for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct training sessions for our two youngest competitive groups (K4 and K5,
ages 11–14) as well as recruitment groups (4–5 evenings per week and possibly morning
sessions). - Responsible for all competition and training camp activities for these groups.
- Collaborate with and mentor assistant coaches.
- Participate in competitive group meetings and 3–4 annual club meetings.
- Attend weekly 2–3-hour management and leadership meetings.
- Administrative tasks including meet registration, communication with parents, invoicing for
meets and camps, and preparing schedules and competition calendars in collaboration
with the general manager. - Actively recruit swimmers from the swim school with a goal of at least 10 swimmers per age
group and gender from age 9 and up.
